ICONOGRAPHY<\/span><\/h3>\n

The sculpture corresponds to an allegorical image that shows the redemption of men carried out by Christ, so it appears all the Passion wounds, and its success over sin and death, which appear represented respectively in form of snake and skull.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

Mr Antonio Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ednez Rodr\u00edguez, born in Beas del Segura (Ja\u00e9n), in 1971, a self-taught sculptor with an intense and religious training. During its youth in the seminary he decided the direction of his religious sculptures, being previously in the hidden details of the Sevillian workshops, and since 2001 he has an own workshop in the middle of Madrid\u2019s centre, in a house from the 18th century, beside the Palacio Real, where inside it it can be breathed an absolute calm.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

The throne is realised by Mr Juan Lorente S\u00e1nchez in 1983, in carved wood and finished in golden. It is formed in two parts; a little basket of about 50cm height and a plinth of about 75cm height with some of its carvings with a depth of about 25cm, and completing the throne four carved lanterns and with ten points of light each one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Tunic<\/h3>

The tunic is made in green wool, on the hood, golden fringes and black cord, and lace edging on the sleeves. The tunic is based in the tunic of San Pedro in the beginnings of the 20th century with short hood and the face uncovered.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Standard<\/h3>

it is designed and realised by Arag\u00f3n Orfebres from Motril (Granada) in 2009, made in green velvet and adorned in silver silversmithing, with oil of the main image made by Mr Bartolom\u00e9 Medina. The guide-lanterns and the hand-lanterns made in metalwork of golden brass in Toledo by Artesar\u00eda Potenciano in 2009.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
