HISTORICAL REVIEW<\/span><\/h3>\n

It was born in May 1951, in the bosom of the Confraternity El Rollo, under the presidence of Mr. Antonio Bleda Garc\u00eda and by initiative of Mr. Francisco Mart\u00ednez Herrero. By agreement of the General Assembly on the 3rd June 1951 it is contracted this new paso.<\/p>\n

ICONOGRAPHY<\/span><\/h3>\n

It represents the moment of disengaging Jes\u00fas from the Cross and taking Him down to His Mother\u2019s arms. It is formed by five figures. In the highest of the Cross it is Nicodemo, on a stair resting on the cross that, after having disengaged the left arm of Jes\u00fas, he lets Him falling in the arms of Jos\u00e9 de Arimatea. Expecting at the Cross\u2019 feet, they are San Juan and the Virgen Mar\u00eda.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

t was carved by the prestigious Murcian sculptor Jos\u00e9 Planes Pe\u00f1alver. He makes this paso in 1952, in his studio in Madrid. The statues are restored in 1990 by \u00c1ngel Belench\u00f3n Fern\u00e1ndez from the Studio-Workshop of Conservation and Restoration of Religious Art from the Spanish Episcopal Conference.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

It was made in polychromed wood, for marching on shoulders. It was carved by Francisco S\u00e1nchez Carcel\u00e9n from Artesan\u00edas Carsa from yecla in 1994, with a similar design to the former made in Casa Orrico from Valencia (1969), for marching on wheels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Tunic<\/h3>

Standard<\/h3>

It was embroidered in 1952 in golden thread on cardinal red velvet.
