With the aim of completing the procession of Sorrow in the Holy Thursday evening, it was created the Brotherhood in 2003, being the Confraternity\u2019s president Mr Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ednez S\u00e1nchez, who orders to the sculptor Francisco Lim\u00f3n Parra, the fulfilment of the paso with four figures, although that first year it only walked with two. Paso carried only by anderas-women.<\/p>\n

ICONOGRAPHY<\/span><\/h3>\n

Christ, in the way of the Calvary, falls for the third time and, looking to some women who cried, He told them \u2018Jerusalem\u2019s women: don\u2019t cry for me, cry for yourselves and for your children\u2019. The paso is formed by five figures; Jes\u00fas with the knee on the ground carrying the Cross, and two women with faces in tears, one of them carries her son in arms and in the other one a girl who gives her the hand.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

Francisco Lim\u00f3n Parra, Sevillian sculptor from Villanueva del Ariscal. Self-taught, he follows the patrons of the 16th and 17th centuries. He counts with several pasos in Jumilla.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

Realised in 2003 in silvery silversmithing with golden motives. Made in the workshops Orovio de la Torre in Torralba de Calatrava (Ciudad Real) for being carried on shoulders by 40 anderas<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tunic<\/h3>

The anderas\u2019 tunic in red wool with gold adornment in sleeves and hems, black velvet sash with the confraternity\u2019s shield embroidered in gold.
