HISTORICAL REVIEW<\/span><\/h3>\n

As it is said in the Brotherhood\u2019s historical review, it was founded by Father Lobo at the end of the 15th century, as Brotherhood La Cruz. In 1773, as it can be deduced from the notarial document of OBLIGACIONES DE MIGUEL L\u00d3PEZ DE BEAMUD Y CONSORTES Y A LA HERMANDAD DE LA SANTA CRUZ, existing in the Yecla Local Archive (File 197. Years 1772-1774 Public Notary: Francisco Barrot. Pages 70-71 v. Contents
\nJumilla). The aforesaid document answered to the guarantees provided by Mr. L\u00f3pez de Beamud, as main, it also collects the names of Mr. Pascual Sig\u00fcenza de L\u00f3pez, Mr. Sebasti\u00e1n Cutillas de Beamud and Mr. Bartolom\u00e9 Xim\u00e9nez de Mu\u00f1oz as his guarantors, those who responded with goods that are indicated in this document and that it would guarantee that Mr. Miguel L\u00f3pez de Beamud could take on the alms, the ones that Brothers should contribute. On the 20th december 1772 it is named main, on assembly, as alms\u2019 collector, being every Brother\u2019s payment of four old Spanish coins. It was made delivery in that ceremony, a collector notebook about all brothers and their respective amounts which, until that day were in arrears, and that said: everyone of them, which are all reduced to a bigger amount and that rise to an amount of seven thousand three hundred fifty-two reals and twelve old Spanish coins; and fourty pounds and four ounces of in-kind carved wax, valuated to price of ten reals the pound, to supply and spend what is being used in the Viaticums and funerals to do\u2026<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

The current platforms are a work from Hermanos Mart\u00ednez Silversmithing Workshop,
\nfrom Redob\u00e1n (Alicante).<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

The platform and Cross are carved in mahogany wood and with silvery applications\u00a0made by Hermanos Mart\u00ednez and which are a copy of the ordered one in 1941 to a wood\u00a0carver from Madrid, exhibited in the Holy Sepulchre\u2019s Chapel-Museum where it\u00a0presides beside the Cristo Yacente.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
