HISTORICAL REVIEW<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Confraternity was born together with the Confraternity Jes\u00fas Nazareno, taking part in the processions with the images of the Nazareno by Roque L\u00f3pez and the Soledad by Ignacio Vergara, destroyed in 1936. In 1940 it takes part again in the parades with other Dolorosa, until 1944 when the Brotherhood would take part with the new image by Ignacio Pinazo.<\/p>\n

DISTINGUISHED INSIGNIAS<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Crown:<\/strong> imperial crown of Renaissance style, in pure silver and fine gemstones, made in the workshops Jos\u00e9 David from Valencia in 1954.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nThe Heart: <\/strong>piece of jewelery in gold and diamonds size cabuj\u00f3n, made in the jewelery workshops Joaqu\u00edn Gasc\u00f3n from Murcia.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe Cape:<\/strong> of black velvet in gold and gemstones, made in the workshops of Mrs Consuelo Esc\u00e1mez from Cartagena, in 1971.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ICONOGRAPHY<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Virgen in her Solitude with the hands intertwined, it represents the moment of horrible pain before her dead Son.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is a work by the religious images carver Ignacio Pinazo Mart\u00ednez from Valencia in 1944, author of countless works in our city.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

Of silvery silversmithing, a work by the Valencian Mr Jos\u00e9 David from 1963. In 1965 it is ordered to the Valencian silversmith Jos\u00e9 David, the throne in embossed silver, with a plinth in wrought and openworked silver, with appliqu\u00e9s of chiselled bronze.
