HISTORICAL REVIEW<\/span><\/h3>\n

It replaces the previous one by Javier Santos de la Hera which walked from 1980 to 1996. The Confraternity orders to the religious images carver Mr. Francisco Lim\u00f3n the project of the image that will walk closing the retinue of the Jumilla\u2019s Holy Thursday: Mar\u00eda Sant\u00edsima de la Amargura.<\/p>\n

DISTINGUISHED INSIGNIAS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Imperial Crown:<\/strong> made in embossed silver, it is from the end of 19th century.
\nThe Cloak:<\/strong> it is of wine-purple velvet, embroidered in gold, silver and fine gemstones, according to a very special design by the Jumilla\u2019s artist Mr. Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9var. It was made in the male workshops from Delhi (India) in 1996. In the middle it shines the Confraternity\u2019s shield, on profuse sky of silvery stars. At the top there is a console announcing REGINA IN COELUM ABSUNTA; in both sides, on the consoles, it goes embroidered the litanies of the Holy Rosary.
\nFlag:<\/strong> a design by Jos\u00e9 Romero Ben\u00edtez where the Confraternity\u2019s shield stands out on the wide part of the flag, whose typology is a clear recreation of the Sevillian Confraternities\u2019 standards, called commonly \u2018cods\u2019. A simple decoration of linked palms \u00a0and volutes complete the slender design.<\/p>\n

ICONOGRAPHY<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is a splendid sculpture about Dolorosa, in an attitude of looking for her Son. The hands are interlaced (with anguish) towards her breast, it moves forward by Amargura Street.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

Francisco Lim\u00f3n Parra, was born in Villanueva del Ariscal (Sevilla). He was a disciple of Mr. Francisco Buiza.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

The throne is of silvery silversmithing; it has a Glory Canopy in wine-purple velvet, embroidered in gold, silver and fine gemstones. The throne is formed by twelve silvery German silver shafts and ten vases to put flowers on it. It was finished in 1997. The illumination is formed by two pyramids with big crowned glass bells.<\/p>\n

PALLIUM<\/span><\/h3>\n

It is a big piece of wine-purple velvet, embroidered in gold, silver and gemstones. In the centre of its roof there is an embroidery of the Holy Spirit, represented by a white dove. It was realised in the male workshops of Delhi (India) in 1994.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Tunic<\/h3>

The tunic and the hood are of black velvet decorated with gold adornments and the Confraternity\u2019s shield embroidered on the chest. It is fastened with a gold cord with tassels. It completes the outfit a wide cape also in velvet, in maroon colour.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Standard<\/h3>

According to a design by Mr. Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9var Garc\u00eda, made in the Workshops of Mr. Jos\u00e9 Romero Ben\u00edtez, from Sevilla. A piece of black velvet embroidered to the tapestry with lam\u00e9 in gold and silver. In the central body it shows an oval with a painting in acrylics of the \u2018Mater Dolorosa\u2019, finished in a cartridge with the Maria\u2019s logo with a crown.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
