HISTORICAL REVIEW<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2003 it is created the Brotherhood for taking part in the procession of the Holy Burial in Good Friday evening under the presidency of Mr. Juan Ochando Otazo, taking part for the first time in the processions in 2004. It is designated as first president of the Brotherhood Mr. Jaime Tom\u00e1s Bleda. The image is lowered to Jumilla from the Santa Ana\u2019s Monastery, in romeria, in the Holy Monday evening and it is deposited for its safe-keeping in the San Juan\u2019s Church.<\/p>\n

It represents the moment in which Jes\u00fas dies on the Cross.<\/p>\n

AUTHOR<\/span><\/h3>\n

The carving of crucifixed Christ is anonymous from the 16th century, of local property, existing in the small hermitage of Santa Ana del Monte, previous to the building of the Monastery by the franciscan friars. It is a carving with miraculous tradition, since it is said that while the friars were praying, it set free its right hand and gave three times its blessing to the community. It is an image very beloved and devoted by the Jumilla\u2019s people. In 2003 it was restored in the Centro de Restauraci\u00f3n de la Comunidad Aut\u00f3noma de Ver\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\n

THRONE<\/span><\/h3>\n

It uses the same throne than the paso Sant\u00edsimo Cristo de la Ca\u00edda, but the Christ marchs with the cross leaned instead of vertically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Standard<\/h3>

designed by Antonio Bleda Carri\u00f3n, was made in the workshops of Ciriaco Ruiz from Valencia. On black velvet embroidered with golden thread, the central motive in the image of Jes\u00fas de la Ca\u00edda embroidered in nuanced silk and framed with a crown of thorns. Delimited with fringe and tassels of small tube (the same standard than the paso Sant\u00edsimo Cristo de la Ca\u00edda).<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
