HISTORY
It was founded in 1984 by Mr. Francisco Díaz Guardiola and taking part in 1985 for the first time, with a step made by the Cartagena’s sculptor Jesús Azcoytia, in the procession on Easter Wednesday. In 1992 it is annexed the Brotherhood the Santas Mujeres, founded in 1972 by Mr. Luis Canicio, with images by Antonio García Mengual, being replaced in 2004 by others by Francisco Limón Parra. In 1995 the confraternity makes another brotherhood for taking part in the procession the Santo Entierro, the Lamentaciones ante Cristo Muerto, amazing sculptoric group of four images with a Virgin of Sorrows from 19th century, which are carried on the shoulders by a group of anderos with the desire of making the Confraternity bigger.

HOUSE OF THE BROTHERHOOD
The confraternity has all its heritage in a building at Pósito street. During the Easter Week, the confraternity is placed in a ground-floor at Barrio Iglesias Street.
DAY OF PROCESSION
Easter Wednesday and Good Friday in the morning, with the main image; Good Friday in the evening, with Las Lamentaciones; Resurrection Sunday, with Las Santas Mujeres.
