HISTORY
The Brotherhood Santa Mª Magdalena was founded in 1882 by Mr. Miguel Jiménez, being the main image a sculpture by the Murcian Sánchez Araciel.
The primitive image was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War so, in 1943 it is ordered the current one to the Valencian sculptor Ignacio Pinazo, funded by the brothers, and it walks for the first time in 1944. In 1952 Pinazo also sculpts the throne.
In 1983 it is reorganised by Mr. Adolfo Jiménez, beginning this new period with 17 brothers.
From 1986 they take part in the Manolas’ procession on Holy Thursday.
In 1994 S.A.R.D. Felipe de Borbón is named Honorary President. The title of ‘Royal’ was given by His Majesty the King Felipe VI in 2019.

BROTHERHOOD’S HOUSE
The Confraternity has a groundfloor which has been prepared for the Brotherhood’s tasks, where it counts with a hall for guarding its heritage, placed at 54th-A Barón del Solar Avenue.
PROCESSION’S DAY
In the morning and evening of Good Friday (main paso) and Resurrection’s Sunday (San Miguel Arcángel).
